Workshop – Resiliency & Durability

Resiliency & Durability  Registration Closed

A properly designed and installed storm drainage pipe system will prove to be resilient and durable and will achieve its expected service life. It is important to understand the issues and factors that can cause disruption to the performance and service life of a storm drainage system — issues that can impact the community and create unwanted maintenance costs. This course will cover pipe resiliency and durability and will identify aggressive factors that can affect rigid and flexible pipe systems. Our infrastructure depends on resilient and durable systems. Learn how this can be achieved.

All participants will receive 4 PDHs upon full attendance and successful completion of the workshop.

ACPA Workshops

ACPA Workshops are online, 1/2 day training sessions that combine live sessions and independent work that the student completes during the training time.  The workshops are led by industry subject matter experts that interact with the students and encourage them to ask and answer questions to gain a better understanding of the topic at hand.  All classes have independent work that includes short assignments, videos, quizzes, and/or readings. The live session allows the students to apply the knowledge they just learned during the independent online work time. Access to a computer with a webcam and a reliable computer connection are required.
