APWA PWX 2017 was a great success for the concrete pipe industry, providing a valuable platform to raise awareness about the concrete pipe industry with public works professionals across North America.
Producers (Forterra, Oldcastle, Rinker Materials and Thompson Pipe Group), and Associates (EJ, Hamilton Kent, Mar-Mac and Press-Seal) exhibited this year. Together, producers and associates displayed a strong concrete pipe/precast footprint. Many of the ACPA booth visitors expressed their interest in training for installation and inspection of both concrete pipe and precast concrete box culverts.
The industry’s profile was heightened even further when Forterra won Best Booth Award in the Medium Booth Category!
