The 2019 ACEC Annual Convention and Legislative Summit was a great success.  ACEC didn’t miss a beat under the leadership of newly appointed President/CEO Linda Bauer. Thanks to her effective staff and a strong representation from member companies, ACEC’s presence was felt in DC.  The Arkansas Chapter – ACEC visited Senators Cotton and Boozman, as well as Congressmen Hill, Westerman and Womack.  All visits provided opportunities to communicate ACEC’s policy priorities for the 116th Congress.

Those priorities are:
1. Supporting Federal, State and Local Governments
2. Engineering a 21st Century Infrastructure Agenda
3. Global Leader in Engineering Services
4. Sustainable Energy Solutions
5. Growing the Engineering Workforce
6. Resilient, Sustainable Solutions to Climate Change
7. Innovation and Competitiveness
8. Water and Environmental Protection
