The Pennsylvania Concrete Pipe Association met with Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Wolf, to Express their appreciation of five years of proclamations for Concrete Pipe Week. The governor shared his goals for infrastructure development through additional natural gas taxes while discussing the extreme flooding recently experienced by the state. PCPA members invited the governor to visit their local plants at his convenience, and gave him a red, white, and blue hard hat with ACPA logo to wear on his visit.

This is a demonstration of the comparative flammability of polypropylene pipe (PP), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), and high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE). Dry hay is ignited in three 18 in. by 18 in. pipes and allowed to burn. This is an unedited test conducted on October 21, 2015.
