Pre & Post Installation Inspections | May 19th, 12:45pm – 5:00pm EST
This workshop will introduce attendees to the inspection milestones throughout a storm drainage pipe’s life cycle, with
an in-depth focus on the pre- and post-installation timeframes. This class will give students a review of AASHTO R73,
which provides excellent guidance on the evaluation of pre-installed reinforced concrete pipe and other precast
drainage products. Attendees will also learn about Post Installation Inspections (PII) that provide the owner with the
information necessary to determine if proper installation occurred prior to project close-out or final acceptance.
All participants will receive 4 PDHs upon full attendance and successful completion of the workshop.

ACPA Workshops are online, 1/2 day training sessions that combine live sessions and independent work that the student completes during the training time. The workshops are led by industry subject matter experts that interact with the students and encourage them to ask and answer questions to gain a better understanding of the topic at hand. All classes have independent work that includes short assignments, videos, quizzes, and/or readings. The live session allows the students to apply the knowledge they just learned during the independent online work time. Access to a computer with a webcam and a reliable computer connection are required.
